Planet Defender
Hi! I'm a 16 year old trying to become a full-time game dev. This is my first time participating in a game jam, along with my first (mostly complete) game I've made. I hope you enjoy it!
Try to defend the planet from as many asteroids as possible! You can also use the cash you make to buy perks. Use A and D to move around the planet, and left click to shoot.

This feels ironic, but it would be helpful to know how close the meteors are to getting destroyed (e.g. health bars or cracks in the meteors).
It is a really cool game and good luck for your next jams!

Earth having a gun is cute. I like the rotation fire mechanic.
I like it! I thought the game was fun and thought it was cool how you randomized the sounds effects between a couple different ones on the asteroid destruction. I did feel like the money was a little hard to come by. After my first run I got a score of 78 and couldn't buy anything as I only had $17.
